CA-SB1 -- GLBA - PIPEDA Regulations | ||||||

With
the recent and pending enactments of state, national and international
laws, institutions are faced with the need to significantly increase their
levels of privacy, with an emphasis on speech.
With office layouts becoming more crowded, more employers, to make room for growth, are now implementing the open floor plan with "low-walled" cubicles instead of closed offices. This may increase the number of employees they can accommodate, but dramatically decreases the privacy level among the workers. Conversations can now be overheard by neighboring cubicles and in many cases, across the whole area. This also means that clients on the phone can possibly hear background conversations, thus decreasing your security levels even lower. The Voice Arrest™ system, in compliance with these regulations and laws, can achieve "Normal Speech Privacy" (AI<0.2) at 12 feet, using only 48 decibels, rather than the typical systems that are required to operate at 51 to 54 decibels to provide the same effectiveness. This is all possible without the need for special walls or partitions, making it the most economical and practical solution. Voice Arrest provides privacy without walls! To obtain even higher levels of privacy, along with the Voice Arrest™ system, special ceiling tiles, partitions, and sound absorbing materials may be required. |
